Chris St. John is being honored as the Executive of the Month for March. Chris is forever helping SME out in the most practical ways possible – solving issues and making all things possible. He has provided a convenient space for the board to hold their monthly meetings. When we needed a place to store some equipment and office supplies – it was Chris who stepped forward again offering a way to help out. He is always one of the first to help with a sponsorship when we have a fundraising event. It seems at every opportunity he finds a way to be of assistance or simply offer a way to make things run smoothly. Chris currently Chairs the Past Presidents Committee and is a member of the Board of Directors. Chris is also serving on the SME Live committee. When asked about SME Chris shared “I had the privilege and honor to serve as president for SME Topeka in 2010-2011 and have served on the SME Topeka Board for the past several years. SME Topeka has a bright future with talented leadership and commitment from our members. I am looking forward to more excellent speakers and the opportunity to network at our meetings.” Chris is the President and co-owner of Lawyers Title of Kansas, Inc. It is a family-owned real estate closing and title insurance company serving Northeast Kansas. Chris has played drums in big bands for many years and is currently learning to play guitar. Chris and his wife Trudy of 28 years enjoy traveling to their favorite destinations including the white sand beaches of Florida, the Caribbean, and the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. They have one grown daughter Bailey working as an engineer in Kansas City. Please join me in congratulating Chris on receiving this honor when you next see him.
