Karon is a twenty plus year member of SME and has served as a member of the board of directors for many years. Currently she continues to serve in the Treasurer seat, a position that got extra complicated this year. She serves on the scholarship committee as well and volunteers her time at the annual golf tournament and other SME sponsored activities.

Karon is the VP of Client Services at Prescription Network, corporately located in Topeka. Prescription Network manages the pharmacy benefits of health insurance plans all over the United States and has been in business for almost 40 years. Prescription Network partners with business owners, employer groups, brokers, TPA’s and other self-funded clients to administer their pharmacy benefits effectively.   

She and her husband Robert have two grown and handsome sons, two beautiful and smart daughters-in-law and four (almost 5) grandchildren, lovingly referred to as “the grands”.  Karon loves spending time with the grands, kayaking, camping, traveling and side by side muddin”. Yep – who knew that last one!
