Douglas Searcy is a 27 year career law enforcement investigator and recently retired from the Topeka Police Department as a Homicide \ Cold Case Detective. An assignment, as the Crime Stoppers Coordinator, changed his retirement plans. A passion for finding the last piece of the puzzle in unsolved homicides seized his attention. After a few months, a made for TV series “Capital Cold Cases” was born.
