I thought Merrick’s presentation was excellent, and I want to find time to read his book, The Chameleon: Life- Changing Wisdom for Anyone Who has a Personality or Knows Someone Who Does. Memorial Day weekend might be a good time to get it done. With that in mind, I thought you would appreciate the responses from some of our members when I asked, “What are you reading?”
- Robbie Smith, Networks Plus– “I am currently reading Existentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less, by Greg McKeown. It was the book that Lamar Hunt Jr. recommend us and so far it is great.
I just finished a book that was amazing. The Travelers Summit, by Andy Andrews, it’s the sequel, The Travelers Gift. Andy Andrews also wrote The Noticer, which was a great book as well. There’s a sequel to that one as well, but I haven’t read it.
Lastly, I had read Jordan Peterson’s 12 Rules of Life and it was AWESOME, it’s been a while, but I would highly recommend it.
I don’t have any that I would not recommend 😊.”
- Jeanette Johnson, Berkshire Hathaway- “I’m reading James Patterson’s Michael Bennett (Detective/crime/suspense) series, but I recently finished Michele Obama’s book, BECOMING, which I loved. Steve is reading Love Your Enemies: How Decent People Can Save America from the Culture of Contempt, which I will read when he finishes.”
- Jay T. Ladenberger, Curtis 1000- “I’m honestly in between books but this is one that I am just starting, Chop Wood Carry Water, by Joshua Medcalf”.
- Karon Lee, Currus, Inc.- “I am reading my autographed copy of Merrick Rosenberg’s book.”
I hope you will find one or two books from the list that will enrich, and that you will enjoy.
Thank you to Robbie, Jeanette, Jay T., and Karon for the recommendations. Robbie, you are a voracious reader! I’m impressed you’re able to make time to read so many books. Looks like you could provide some time management tips from which we all could benefit!
Have a magnificent May!
